Perfect Match
Put this on a customer's Remington 870 that he was setting up as a home defense gun. He brought in the new "furniture" when he picked up the gun. the Magpul FDE Cerakote was a perfect match to the Magpul for-end and buttstock. I follow the Cerakote instructions exactly, and get great results. If you don't have the blast cabinet, solvent soak tank, and a good low pressure spray gun, take it to someone that does.

great on a lower receiver
this is what i got to do a 80% lower receiver that was ordered in raw aluminum. blasted it with the specified media, soaked in rubbing alcohol a few times, wiped down before coating with the ceramic & turned out great. 99% of success will be in the prep work; do not cut any corners here. spray it inside a clean environment, bake in oven for the suggested time & temp and all will be good. the finish on the lower has not chipped or rubbed off. the coating is super thin and will not add thickness if you are concerned with tolerances. im surprised how well the finish looks & performs. i have put the finished lower in cases for travel, set it down against various surfaces, heated it up numerous times trying to extract a screw for the bolt catch, and fired 300 rounds or more over a period of 6-months. take your time, follow directions and prep surfaces well and you will also be impressed. it takes a minimal amount to cover 1 or 2 receivers so i still have enough left over to coat anything firearm related or otherwise. and this is just a refill pack. great for small jobs just mix a little at a time given scope of the work, dont mix the entire contents at once and then waste 98% of the leftover. use common sense & mathematics to ration off what is necessary for your needs at that time.

Restores old back to factory new
Was worried that the small size wouldn't be enough . Well I was able to spray 2 large wilton bench vises , an Ar and a separate barrel and I still have 25 ml left . Plenty enough to do at least 4 guns .i just followed the directions to the T. The end results are factory new.i couldn't be happier .if your hesitant don't be.just remember all your hard prep work speaks volumes with the end results .ill be buying more of different colors when the need arrives.Plain AMAZING !! Remember 2nd amendment all the way !!!! NOT ONE INCH !!!!

Excellent color all around.
I "koated" my AR lower with (2) uppers, plus the Mossberg barrel + Magazine. This color looks amazing. Made a mistake of also buying Graphite Black - don't waste your money. I did run out of Hardner "B" before I ran out of color....

Great Finish Great Color
Great Product!! As always the prep is the most important part. Take your time and you can achieve a great finish. I have reviewed the Graphite Black and I found that the Gray sprayed on the same as the black. (10 Year Experienced Gun Smith)

Excellent Product
Perfect match to my Magpul hardware. Painting experience and proper preparation are a must. Just follow the instructions and don't cut any corners and you will have an awesome product that lasts! HVLP Spray gun is best for application. Some reviews said to use a hobby airbrush and I tried it, but it didn't turn out well at all. The spray pattern was too small and there just wasn't enough volume. If you can, use an all metal HVLP spray gun because the cheap plastic ones don't like it when you put Acetone in them to clean up with. This stuff is stinky, so if you're baking it in your home oven, make sure you have plenty of ventilation. Take your time, do it right and you will be very pleased.

Good Stuff
Used this color to spray three slides; all Glocks'. Prep work takes longer than other spray on applications. HVLP gun was a new challenge to balance out pattern, amount of material, & PSI. All three came out awesome despite me! The test will be durability during daily use in kydex holsters.
