Ruger's® PC Carbine® took the firearm world by storm in 2019, and the platform has a whole lot going for it. However, adding accessories can be a challenge, but Midwest Industries made it a whole lot easier with its Combat Rail PC9™ Handguard. The Midwest Industries Combat Rail PC9™ Handguard is machined from 6061 aluminum and features eight sides of M-LOK attachment slots, giving PC9™ owners unprecedented versatility in attaching lights, lasers and other add-ons. The handguard even includes three QD sockets, so you can easily attach a sling to the forward end of your carbine. Each Midwest Industries Combat Rail PC9™ Handguard is dehorned for a comfortable feel. Now available in a 12.375” or 14” length handguards. They only weigh 10.9 ounces with the mounting bolt, or 11.9oz for the 14” rail. An installation wrench is included, as well as a 5-slot polymer M-LOK rail. Note: Only compatible with new Ruger® PC9™ TakeDown carbine models - 19100, 19101, 19102. MI-CRPC9X will NOT work with any Ruger® PC Carbine™ models that include a fiber optic front sight.

FITS AND LOOKS GREAT

This is a great addition to my Ruger PC 9 TK custom carbine. Very simple to put on and the fit is perfect. No need to adjust anything. Looks and feels great. Plenty of room to accessorize! I have nothing negative to comment.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED

My PC CARBINE came with the very small, splinter-style forend, and the barrel would get too hot to hold every time we shot our steel duelling tree. My wife's PC CARBINE is the AMERICAN FLAG version with an aluminum forend. No issue with barrel heat on her rifle. So I tried this Midwest forend on my rifle. PROBLEM SOLVED! BTW, This was a nice, tight, close fit at the attachment point. I used Loctite on the screw ( and all other screws on this rifle), and it's still tight. After 1194 rounds of 9mm ball, there is no play at the muzzle end. Also, I replaced the Ruger front sight blade with a TANDEMKROSS fiber optic blade. It works perfectly with this 12.375-inch forend.

This rail will not disappoint. It has room for all the attachments, it's light and very easy to install! Lock-up is solid and the alignment is perfect!

From limited to limitless

This is such a great addition to a great gun. The old fore end was awkward and that little chunk of picatinny was limited in use. NOW I have more real estate. I really dont plan on loading it up with much more than an Olight Valkyrie Pl Pro, but at least I have options now. For the 14 rail bear in mind you may have to remove the front sight first. Also, if you have trouble coupling it to the receiver, try adjusting the barrel nut. It may have been written down somewhere but who reads instructions?
