Quality product & easy to install
This is the 2nd Vortex bubble level I have purchased. I bought this level for my heavy barrel Remington 700 varmint rifle with an 8-32x scope (1" tube). The level separates into two halves for installation, which allowed mounting the level on the scope tube in front of the turret knobs (I.e., on the muzzle side of the turrets) without having to remove the scope for installation. The bubble comes with a hex (Allen) wrench for installing the two steel hex head screws. The bubble housing is aluminum, not plastic for good durability. I have used this same Vortex level for quite some time on my .308 AR10 rifle to engage steel targets out to 1300yd (with my handloads) & it works great! Very pleased with the quality & ease of installation.
Best Leveler Available.
Have them installed on 5 different rifles, 3 tactical, 2 F Class. 3 are 30mm, and two are 1". Range from a Sightron Slll, to a pair of Japanese Nikons. with a Weaver T36, and Burris Widefield thrown in for specific application. The Vortex Levels are very well made, finished, and do exactly what they're supposed to do. The liquid used, to support the bubble, gives a perfect response; neither too fast, or too slow. I've installed this level, for several people who asked me to install scopes,, and level the optics on their rifles. I've never had an installation issue, or anyone complain. The price is reasonable, given the fit, and finish. I position the bubble either in front of the adjustment turrets, or behind, leaving a 1/16" gap. The bubble is always visable in either position.
Excellent Scope Level
These levels are installed on four of my rifles. they are easy to install and adjust and don't move with handling. Great construction. The only negative is the Chinese manufacture.
Scope level
For scopes that do not have an internal level, this is the solution. It makes it easy to check that the scope/rifle is not canted. A well made unit, light in weight, and fits like a glove. I did order the wrong size, but replaced it with a 30 mm unit which is the same.
My favorite bubble level
Having the bubble level on the side makes ensuring my scope is level faster, easier, and without having to move my eye from the scope's objective. I'd rather have both screws on top, but it's an inconvenience easy to live with. I use 56mm scopes on a Remington 700, an M1A and an AR-10. I'm able to shoot 5 shot groups into one hole at 100 yards with these rifles.
Great product for benchrest shooting..
This is my second purchase of this level..It's going on another rifle.. This will help you shoot smaller groups especially if you are shooting off a bench like me..Getting exactly level each shot is almost impossible for me without this excellent tool..When you get one to try get the crosshairs what you feel is dead on and then look at the level..I was always off a little bit making bullet impact a little off also..Vortex makes excellent products..I have a scope by them also..
Vortex scope level
I have a Vortex scope bubble level on my air pistol it seems to be working fine good quality and fit & finish excellent.
VORTEX OPTICS 35mm Bubble Level
Slightly thicker than what I wanted, however, it is easy to install, use and stays in place which enhances longer-range accuracy.
Re branded Chinese, save your money
This is exactly the same, except for the price and branding, as a bubble level on Amazon for $14.99. See the pics, one is labeled Vortex, the other is labeled Warhuntusa. The Vortex is labeled "Made in China." I just cant bring myself to put any Chinese parts on my rifle, Brownells, please include country of origin on the product description.
Scope level
Looked used when I received it the box was opened and the allan wrench scratched the bubble up pretty bad. When I ordered it, it was not eligible for the free shipping so was changed almost 10.00$ shipping fee and it came in the same box as the rest of my order that had free shipping?? But it looks well made and its usable so Ill keep it (been wanting one for a while)
