AMEND2 - AR-15 MOD-2 5.56X45 NATO RIFLE MAGAZINE

I bought these because the price was right and I had never heard of them. Very impressed with them, better than MagPul in my opinion.

RECENTLY PURCHASED ONE OF THEIR 10 RD. MAGS & HAVE NOT HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO RANGE TEST IT, BUT I MOST CERTAINLY CAN SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING: (1) I DETAIL STRIPPED THE MAG. & NOTED THE INSIDE WALL WAS VERY SMOOTH. HOWEVER, I DID APPLY A THIN COAT OF A CLEAR-COAT SAFE, NON-ABRASIVE AUTO POLISH, LET DRY, & BUFFED WITH A COTTON TOWEL. IT NOW IS REALLY SLICK INSIDE !!!! (2) NOTED THE FOLLOWER SPRING IS A LARGER DIAMETER WIRE THAN WHAT I HAVE SEEN IN OTHER BRANDS OF AR-MAGS & SHOULD HOLD IT'S COMPRESSION STRENGTH FOR A VERY LONG TIME. (3) AMMO LOADED VERY SMOOTHLY INTO THE MAG. (4) THE EXTERIOR SURFACE GOT POLY-TREATED THE SAME AS THE INSIDE. THUS, THE MAG. INSERTED, LOCK SECURELY, & EJECTED EASILY FROM INSIDE THE RECEIVER. CONCLUSION: VERY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE SO FAR ZERO COMPLAINTS---SEMPER-FI & OORAH !!!!!!!!!

I have several of these magazines that I use for hunting and shooting from the bench. They work great. I've had no issues at all with them.

Haven't been to the range yet. But I ran some dummy rounds through this magazine. First thing I noticed was, when the mag is fully loaded, and the bolt to my rifle is closed, I have to use a little extra force to get the magazine to seat correctly. When the bolt it opened; no issues. When the mag is unloaded, bolt closed; no issues. Knowing the magazine needs a little extra force to seat makes it a non issue. But I felt I needed to inform.
