What a Great Mag
This mag works,it is the best. I bought two Accuracy International plastic ones and they failed, opening up and not working. No product support from what I thought was a premium company. Accurate Mag makes a lot of Mag's for different rifles. They stand behind there products.
Very nice mags !
I bought these for a Savage model 10 in .223. I used PTG bottom metal and B&C M40 stock. The bottom metal required a bit of inletting to fit the stock, but the mags work perfectly after doing my part with the rifle. The folks complaining about these mags are either using them in the wrong application or the stock/bottom metal are not fitted and mated properly to the action.
Nice,heavy and long
Used the 10 Rd. AI poly mags in .223 for years in a custom built 700 built by me for night shooting but they could not always hold 10 rounds reliably as some would pop out so 8 was max for me, but were light, short and smooth...These mags are Steel which I like and well made also feed smooth and without a doubt made excellent and reliably hold the 10 rounds for a total of 11 in the gun and can be disassembled for cleaning..Only problem is they are longer by about 1 inch and heavier compared to the poly AICS mag, but I mount mine to a tripod with night scope but if your gonna shoot off a bag there will be a clearance problem unless you use a bipod maybe...Regardless very nice top of the line mag and you'll pay for it but you get what you pay for here and you only need 1 or maybe 2 with a bolt...Fits the Badger and Surgeon bottom metal as I have these in other rifles....
Runs like a clock -XLR element Chassis
This magazine works just like it should in a Savage Model 10 action with a semi bull barrel from the hog hunter series in .223, bolted into an XLR Element chassis. No problems, feeds as fast as I can work the bolt. Full mag to empty, all good. All metal construction, easy to feed the magazine. Made is the USA too boot. Very high quality product!
Great magazine
I have a Remington 700 in 204 Ruger and the rifle is stocked in the AICS stock. As you know the 204 has a problem working in most after market magazines. The neck is thicker and this causes the rounds to bind inside of the magazine. I bought the Accurate mag because the inside of the magazine is an insert and it is two pieces that slide inside of magazine. I thought I could open the inserts to allow for the thicker necks but I was surprised to find that they fed just great with no mods. This is a great magazine it's easy to clean and have never has a miss feed or jam.

I use these mags with a KRG-OPS' Whiskey-3 chassis on a Tikka T3, and they work with that combination of action/chassis exactly as you'd expect the magazine to work - seat and release without issues and reliably feed rounds when bolt's cycled. This is important because normally, to use the AICS' polymer .223 magazine in that combination of action/chassis, it is necessary to modify the polymer magazine to fit. Not so with this magazine - it works right out of the box. As compared to the AICS .223 polymer mag, this one is longer by approximately 1 inch. Being metal, it is also at least twice as heavy. The magazine is also easy to take apart for cleaning and maintenance. All that's necessary is a .223 round.
Limits OAL
Top notch quality and construction but the design limits OAL to just over standard length 223/556 ammo. Exchanged mag for MDT version where OAL is not restricted. I load long bullets for precision rifle matches.
300 BLK Application
Very well built magazine, but does not feed 300BLK rounds reliably. I bought it hoping that it may work for my application. The nose of the bullet dives down and gets hung on the plastic piece at the front of the magazine.
Will not feed 300 BO
A very high quality magazine, but it will not feed 300 Black out, the nose of the round gets pushed under the front lip, since I have 4 of them I am going to try to modify one but for the price they shouldn't need modification.
