TAC Powder
New to reloading and haven't used this powder yet. But Brownell's, as usual, is a pleasant website to shop.

Excellent powder for 5.56/7.62 NATO
I use this powder to replicate 5.56x45 and 7.62x51 NATO loads, and the powder is capable of producing service velocities under maximum load data. Great powder that meters like sand in the Hornady LnL powder meter with excellent consistency. Highly recommended multi-purpose powder for the common military semi-auto calibers.

Meters great, clean, reasonably accurate
I use this powder for my bulk ammo making. While some powders are known for their accuracy, they require that you weigh each charge individually to get good results. This is because their large stick/grain size does not meter well in volume based powder measures. This stuff is like pistol powder, its tiny grain size meters within .1 gr through both my Dillon and Lee powder measures. With this powder I can make 250 rounds per hour. They are more accurate than any non-match ammo. I use it for offhand shooting matches since it shoots 1.5 moa out of my CMP rifle. Good enough, cheap, and works well with my high volume reloading equipment. Would I use it for crafting precision rifle ammo? I don't know. I've never done that kind of testing. Don

Good Choice
I experimented with this in my .223rem and went with RE-15, but my results with TAC were good enough to give it a nod here. Would also recommend giving Varget a test.

Great Powder
I use this powder for my 5.56/.223 loads, specifically my AR15. This powder meters well, and is consistent. I find TAC is also cleaner than the powder I used previously H322, and my rifles shoot it a little better. All and all great stuff.
