KAHR GRIP EXTENSION Reviews & Ratings
Alternative use
Not my idea. Read online that these also fit Beretta Nano single stack magazines. Nano has short grip and no available finger rests that look good. These are a direct fit with no mods what-so-ever. Very pleased with fit. Don't use plastic insert that comes with though as base will slide right off. Instead use the metal insert that comes with Nano mag. Front lip of insert is slightly bent from factory to catch on inside of mag tube so base doesn't slip off. This is also needed with these bases. Might need to bend up just a bit more to catch so these bases don't slide off. Bend at same bend line on original. Just bend the tip up. I also put a dab of blue Loctite on the grooves of the base that slide on to mag tube to assure it won't slide forward. Had them and in carry mode with no ill affects. Best thing is that my pinky doesn't dangle anymore. It also gets rid of the long weird mag base that is on the Nano mags from factory. Only bad maybe is that it doesn't go to the full rear of grip and leaves a cavity open in frame much like Glock but no harm will happen to gun. If your looking for Nano finger rests, this is the best solution I have seen to date.
Works fine.
Comes in a two pack so I now have an extra. Installed on Kahr PM9. Works fine. Fit is a little looser than stock thus four out of five stars. Also watch for pinched fingers, but that is the nature of a short grip, not the extension. Includes new black lock tab - nice touch. Easy to install and makes the pistol much easier to handle. Good purchase.
