STRIKE INDUSTRIES - Enhanced Magazine Plate For GEN 3 PMAG +5 Black

Bought 2 of these just to try them, installed them on a 30 rd and a 40 rd gen 3 mag. Both fit well and I did not use the provided pins. They do hold 5 extra rds on my mags. I'm pleased with them.

Has no issues holding the additional 5 rounds and did not have a failure yet with 500 rounds in so far from an AR pistol and rifle . The 2 retaining roll pins are entirely too close to the magazine so take extra care when you are driving them in . They sit are installed at the end of the plate to ensure the plate will not slide off . It did fail a drop test . Magazine fully loaded and dropped the rifle on a concrete with the magazine taking the hit . The plate blew off . A side drop and it stayed on . But really who is going to drop their rifle like that ? Highly recommend as a very cheap upgrade to your 30 round mags . More rounds capacity and a very nice ledge to grab when running fast mag changes . If you are in the market for some magazine extensions don't pass these up!
