Another reviewer noted a concrn about the wrong spring being supplied, which is accurate. After assembly, per Apex's videos - which aren't the greatest, pulling the trigger, it took a ridiculous amount of effort to release the striker. Returned the sear spring and sear back to the OEM one and the trigger worked flawlessly. I will keep it as such until I get a response from Apex about how to replace it. Another thing I noticed was that the advertisement, both on Brownell's site and Apex's, is that the sear shows one dot. On Apex's website it says they are replacing their two dot with a #2 sear. Neither of these are in the kit or in the ad photos. I don't even know what sear they are talking about. Outside of the spring/sear issue, the trigger feels great and everything else seemed to work well. I'll be taking it to the range in a couple days to test it out. If its comfortable as-is, I may just leave it, unless I am supplied with the proper parts.

Trigger shoe is not up to Apex standards and hurts your finger. Trigger bar loop had to be adjusted.

1. Kit didn't supply a sear spring that would fit the Shield Plus. 2. Trigger would not release striker after gun assembly. Gun disassembled to adjust trigger bar loop. Google "Trigger Bar Loop Adjustment" as the APEX video is 10 years old and difficult to locate on their web site. 3. Customer service Manger I spoke with to voice my concerns was an arrogant know nothing. 4. The APEX trigger is better than the S&W Performance trigger supplied, as it doesn't have the hitch that I sometimes got when pulling trigger. The let off is only about a 1/2 a pound lighter than the 5+ pound OEM trigger. I expected better, say 3.5 to 4 pound pull like my APEX MP9 forward assist trigger.
