What is the KART PRECISION BARREL - 5" Barrel, .45 ACP fits N/R?

Install a precision quality barrel using just four small hand tools. The only fitting required is to adjust lockup with the two raised pads located on either side of the rear locking groove, cut the barrel hood to correct length and fit the bushing to the slide. A national match bushing is pre-fit to the barrel; has oversize O.D. for precise fitting to slide. Bottom lugs are fully finished and the correct length link installed to save hours of work.

SPECS: 4150 ordnance steel, in-the-white. Available in 5" (12.7cm), 6" (15.2cm), or Commander 4.25” (10.8cm) lengths. (N/R) Non-ramped. (W/N) Wilson/Nowlin ramp. (C/P) Clark/Para ramp. Ramped barrels require machining of frame. Requires gunsmith fitting. Includes instructions.

45ACP Xact fit barrel and kit
Fitting went well using the xact fit tool kit. This is the 3rd 1911 barrel I have fitted. Functions great and a noticeable improvement over the stock barrel for accuracy.

5" Barrel, .45 ACP fits N/R by KART PREC
Takes understanding of the mechanical intricacies of a 1911 lockup but the results of the accuracy are phenomenal. Fiitting the hood is the first step.

unbelievable
Own a 1969 Colt Govt 45acp with target sights. Lucky to get a 3.5in group out of the ransom rest at 25yds. Followed directions exactly. With the Xact, it is so tight and today shot a 1.7in group at 50yds from the rest!
