REDDING - Small Base Body Die 284 Winchester

Needed to “reset” size some spent military (mg) brass that I had. This body die worked perfectly.

I had a big problem , this cured it. Although the manner in which I used it was perhaps unorthodox it saved me having to pull 3000 bullets. As with all Redding gear its great stuff. Well worth the money. Brownells is my go to for all my loading gear.

When the brass is from unknown sources, or when it was loaded heavily in a generous chamber, and is destined for a tight chamber, this is a valuable tool to have handy. Sometimes, it isn't the shoulder datum that is a fault for a problem with the brass. When the shoulder datum has been set correctly, but you still have difficulty or even no go, then this die comes to the rescue and puts the brass back in service with ease. Even many bolt guns will fail to chamber brass that has been loaded hot from another bolt gun. This die has served me well across many platforms and calibers.

Had a new barrel with match chamber installed. Couldn't use any of my existing brass. My gunsmith recommended this die. Worked perfectly. Saved all my hard earned match brass. Only need to run through one time.
