What is the LEE PRECISION - 25/06 Collet Neck Sizer Die Only?

There is no loading system that will load more accurate ammunition than Lee Collet Dies. A collet squeezes the case neck against a precision mandrel for a perfect fit with minimum run-out. No lube case is needed. Cases last ten times longer, so the savings on only 35 cases will pay for the dies.

Read a lot of reviews before purchasing. I'm new to reloading and trying out this Lee collet neck sizing die. Loaded up a few to test this weekend. Overall, great purchase from Brownells.

Easy to Use, Great Results
I use this on both Lapua and Lake City brass for my FTR rifle. I've only sized around 1,000 pieces so far, but it has given very consistent results with regard to runout and neck tension. There are instructions online for how to clean the die up before you use it, as they need a bit of polish and a dab of grease out of the box. For the price, these are the best deals going.

Solid product, check operation.
I have three of these dies: 308, 30-06 & 7mm Mag, all purchased in the last two months. The 7mm has been perfect in all aspects: No marks on the brass, neck sized perfectly, 5 star rating. The 06 works fine but leaves one faint tool mark on the neck during the neck sizing, 4 star rating rating. The 308 scores the case neck badly, leaves burrs on case mouth and leaves tooling marks on the neck. A close look in the collet using a magnifying glass revealed rough edges, rough tool marks and very small burrs, 1 star rating and I will be returning the 308 die. Due to heavy demand, I would recommend carefully looking over your new Lee die. Im keeping two and returning one (308 Win) and will have to wait for a replacement.

Crushes Brass
After 800-1000 pieces of brass, it started crushing them. I followed the instructions and 'opened' the collet, only for it to work for about 40 more pieces of brass. I've done this process over and over, but it always goes back to crushing brass. There must be a design flaw.
