What is the BERGER BULLETS - 6.5mm (0.264") 140gr Hybrid Boat Tail 100/Box?

Like the Classic Hunters, these 30 Caliber 180 grain Elite Hunter bullets combine the best of both tangent and secant ogive features, resulting in high ballistic performance with less sensitivity to seating depth. The Elite Hunter bullets are not limited to SAAMI standards, so they have much longer noses than the Classic Hunter bullets to provide hunters with the highest ballistic performance possible.

Great bullet
The Berger Elite Hunter is a great bullet as far as accuracy goes. I hope to get to try them on game this hunting season. I'm getting .5 MOA or better at 200yds.

Do not work with BSF barrel in AR10 platform - Creedmoor 6.5
I have a BSF carbon fiber 6.5 Creedmoor barrel in an AR10 platform. These bullets will not load from any mag into the chamber. They hit the barrel wall just past the ramp. I am not yet sure if this is true for all manufacturers barrels or just BSF. But on the BSF barrels be aware that long narrow profile bullets will not work. This Berger bullet has a long tip to ogive at about .700 inch and will not feed into the chamber of the BSF barrels.
