Exactly what was needed for my Ronin to feed 125 TC cast loads at 1.100". I did 3 barrels total today. The Ronin was the first as it had the tightest throat. Then an aftermarket Glock barrel and the Taurus G2C. These loads will be duplicating the 1150 fps muzzle velocity of the AE 124 gn FMJ.
The only problem is I need to make another reamer holder for throating reamers. Without a lathe or mill, this will be an interesting challenge.

9mm throating reamer
Used this reamer to lengthen the throat on a 9mm Win Mag M1 carbine, that I put together. I had to modify the tail end to accept a 5.5 millimeter socket, but after doing so, it only took me maybe 10 minutes to remove the necessary.030-.035 of the throat. Now I can load the 135 grain gold dots, to the canlure!

Just finished using this new reamer on three 9mm barrels that would only chamber one of my castings and at an extremely short OAL. All barrels will now chamber every casting I use and to a longer OAL.
Mission accomplished
This reamer allowed me to load hotter and longer for better feeding. It also helped noticeable with barrel leading and accuracy.
Don't fear the unknown
I'm not qualified as a judge of different reamer's but I got excellent results as a first timer. I went 2 full turns and check for results and repeat. Got free spin of the XTP rounds I reload, at 6 full turns. Gave it 2 more full turns for some jump, ran a wire brush and swab through barrel and back in business. If you have a tap handle, have no fear, it's a piece of cake.
Difficult and could be longer.
The shank is very short. There was very little to grab onto once inserted in the barrel, maybe 0.200". It wouldn't kill them to have an extra 1/2" added on. We had to fabricate a reamer stop to give enough purchase to hold it and provide some control over the depth of cut. This also centered the back of the reamer. Without it, the reamer could pivot on the front pilot making for a less than perfect cut. It was sharp and we got the job done but not without some extra fabrication and ingenuity. We used a fired case to center the back. The reamer stop would run into the back of the case to end the cut. What pain to come up with and implement a solution.
