COMPETITION SEATER DIES

COMPETITION SEATER DIES Reviews & Ratings

We feel the Redding Competition Bullet Seater is the best bullet 7/8-14 bullet seater on the market today. The machining is precise, and the sliding chamber is the smoothest we have ever experienced in a seater. This micrometer-adjustable die is calibrated in .001"" increments for precise seating depth adjustments and is infinitely adjustable (no clicks). It also has a zero set feature that allows you to zero the micrometer to your favorite seating depth. Sold separately or as part of a set. Also available for handgun and straight wall cartridges.

Great Die
I have used this die in another caliber for years. When loading a tight fit cast bullet into a flimsy case it is necessary to hold the bullet in perfect alignment with the axis of the case. These dies do the job others claim to but don't. Yes they are at a premium price, worth every cent. The right tool for the job, as simple as that.

Reading seat die = good
Redding comp seat dies always seem to provide the least bullet runout. Brownells delivers in price and delivery time.

Awesome product, closed my group's a 1/2" @ 100 yrds.

Spot On
Highly accurate. Micrometer adjustment stays put unlike another maker with a micrometer adjustment on the die which drifts. I have very consistent base to ogive measurements in each 100 round batch that I seat. Disassembly and assembly for cleaning is easy and fast.

Love this die
I shoot berger bullets so this die is not a must but without the micrometer it would take forever to seat bullets on the money. Make sure to get the standard length seater stem then follow the directions. The cbto on my bullets are exactly the same without much effort thanks to this die.

Good workmanship excellent performance
I reload for competition benchrest and will use this die. What is great: most br seating dies produce loaded round runout of .003-.001". The loaded round runout on this die was .001". That is astonishing performance from a stock die. What is not great: I guess you could complain about the price but if it performs as well as my die it is a steal.
