BRN-7 STRIPPED LOWER RECEIVER

BRN-7 STRIPPED LOWER RECEIVER Reviews & Ratings

BRN-7 Stripped Lower Receiver, machined from original HK417® forging out of Germany. Brownells started with a raw HK417® forging, and had them machined by Primary Weapons Systems to be as authentic as possible. These lowers feature the classic contours of the HK417®, found on now other lower receiver. Selector markings are inspired by HK417® markings, with color filled pictogram markings. The FFL information is machined on the front of the magazine well, where the normal HK417® warning information is placed. Following machining, these receivers get a matte black Type III anodizing.

Bring back
This needs to come back. I need a lower to fit my mr762a4 upper. I can't find anything close anywhere else.
Would you recommend this? Yes, I would recommend to a friend

HK417 lower is extreme quality work
This was bought as part of the recent Brownells HK417 build. The lower is first class.

Excellent lower to complete your 417.
This is the real deal, made from HK forging 417 lower. I cannot find anything functionally that was machined incorrectly vs. a real 417/MR308 lower. Everything on spec and assembled perfectly and makes for an achingly gorgeous rifle. As for the other reviewer - in case it isn't apparent, he is referencing the selector marking for the full auto position. While yes, the HK mags are 20 rounds, I find this 'error' to be almost irrelevant. The logo is for the selecting of automatic fire mode. That is all. Where it counts, everything on this receiver is top notch. If it's as huge of a problem to you as the other dude (knocking 2 stars for a near perfect receiver.. really?) , then a bit of matte black aluminum touch up paint will quite easily conceal the "30"as the etching is very shallow. There are also magwell adapters to use PMAG/SR20 magazines in it, so 30 rounds is a reality. Maybe they should have specially machined "10" for the limited magazine markets to please everyone (kidding.) In all seriousness - this is an excellent receiver. I'm buying another as a backup/DMR build. Pictures to come.

Solid lower. Build worked
Everything fit snugly in the lower. However the HK mags only hold 20 rounds. Brownells painted and etched 30 on the lower. It doesnt match an actual HK 417 markings and the number 30 doesnt make sense. A little disappointed in the lack of attention to detail on this.
