45 DEGREE BRASS MUZZLE LAP

Use to polish after using 45° Chamfer Cutters; or for lapping out dings, sharp edges, etc., by itself. Improves accuracy. Use with abrasive paste - like our Silicon Carbide grits - mounted in variable speed electric drill. Made of half-hard brass to hold polishing grit well without excessive tool wear.

45 BRASS MUZZLE LAP

Used this with Brownells 45 degree, 5/8" chamfer cutter (#080-588-625) to re-crown several guns. The shalf is 1/4" dia. Almost didn't need it as the cutter did such a good job. I used Brownells 320 grit Abrasive Compound, that I had previously purchased to recut/polish a few forcing cones & hand lap a barrel constriction.

The brass is far too soft on these....

The brass is way too soft on these. With 600 grit compound it is now unusable after 30 seconds of lapping. Save your money.
