Not my favorite
Ive used this with swabs, patches and a cannon brush on my K80 trap combo. Works just ok on a patch but its hard to get the gel to all go into the bore without getting scraped off on the way in and collecting around the outside of the chamber and ejectors. A swab with a long stick works best to get the gel down past the forcing cones where I wipe it on in a circular motion and leave it for 10-15 minutes before running a 10 gauge cannon brush up and down followed by patches until they come clean. Do NOT dip cannon brush in can until coated with gel and then run it up and down: it took almost an entire can of brake cleaner to rid the brush of the sticky, snotty, plastic mess that resulted. If you just swab the gel in followed by the brush its much easier to clean the brush. I prefer a liquid that Ive always used in the past but thought Id try this. Ill try Brownells liquid version of this if it ever comes in stock.
