Wrench is included, like the other reviews say. Not Block II correct, since it isnt FDE, but this thing is as good as it gets for what it is. Allows a DS00 tailcap Surefire at a 10:00 mount, without taking away from a c clamp grip, and the barrel nut will go over a permanently attached A2 style flash hider. Couldnt be happier, except for the price, knowing what theyve sold for a few years ago. Anyways, cant really do better for a carbine FSB barrel. Pair it up with a quality upper, SOCOM 14.5 barrel, and youll have the strongest uppers, with a battle proven history.

i use this on my AR with a 14.5 barrel, it is extremely solid, its a bit heavy but i can handle it pretty easily, it fits perfect with my Yankee Hill Front Sight Flip Up Gas Block

Best rail for the money! Can only be used with a Carbine gas system.

I bought this rail to replace the standard plastic hand guards on a BCM M4 SOCOM upper. This gun is my all-purpose shooter, and sees a lot of use. Rail construction is typical DD, and will take all the use and abuse you can throw at it. The "bolt-up" mounting system is bomb-proof, and if a nut driver with a long extension is used in lieu of the supplied allen wrench the mounting screws can be threaded in quite quickly (as opposed to half a turn at a time). A few notes for those who plan on installing this themselves: 1. Despite the description, the proprietary barrel nut wrench IS supplied with this rail. So don't waste time or money buying an additional wrench. 2. Removal of the FSB from your barrel is required in order to install this rail. Driving out the pins that hold the FSB in place can be a real pain in the you know what. With the proper tools (a cupped punch, and HEAVY hammer) and proper support of the barrel/FSB and receiver, a few really solid, heavy blows should have you in business. 3. Re-installing the pins that hold the FSB is something of a pain. Because the rail is in place when the pins are re-installed, it's impossible to hit the pins squarely (the punch will be at a slight angle in relation to the pins). It's easy to mar the finish on your new rail, so applying masking tape to protect the finish can't hurt. And again, proper support of the barrel/FSB and receiver are critical to being able to hit the pins hard enough to properly seat them. 4. Have a spare set of taper pins for your FSB handy BEFORE you start this project. Depending on the pins, it may be easy to "mushroom" the head, which will cause poor fitment when they're re-installed. Overall, i'm very happy with this rail. The gun feels incredibly solid after mounting this rail, and there's no doubt this rail looks really good on the gun.
