Promag mags for Mini-14 in 6.8 Remington SPC
Fit and cycle fine.

Ok for range use
I tried one of these on the range with quality factory ammo and it functioned adequately. Fit and finish is a little lacking and the large straight design is a little bulky and awkward compared to a curved mag. I would not trust my life on this mag but it's fine for using on the range. Considering Pro Mag is the only option for a magazine holding greater than 5rds specifically for the 6.8 SPC Mini-14 it's worth trying. I like the 10rd version better.

Stay away from Pro Mag
I can't comment too much about these mags, because they wouldn't fit in the rifle. I tried putting cartridges in one of them and they wouldn't stay in the magazine. The one on the right side would just jump out on the ground. I tried holding in the right cartridge and put another round in the left side and it stayed until I pulled the first one out and the second one sprung out onto the ground. The magazines are too wide and will not fit in the magazine receiver and they are about 1/16 inch or more wider than the original Ruger magazines. I thought it might be a fluke, so I tried the other one and it was just like the first one. I'm glad I tried them instead of just storing them until I needed them. No more ProMag for me.
