LANCER SYSTEMS - L5AWM 10rd Translucent Clear

The L5AWMs have a great reputation for working with 300 AAC Blackout in Subs and Supers. Im using the 10, 20 and 30 rounders in clear translucent. These give me multiple ways to help avoid mixing up with my 5.56 mags. These L5AWMs have a different tactile feel and you can see the .308 bullets (and round count remaining). Additionally, the metal lips dont distort, these mags will release and drop free of the Magwell and are easily maintained. I wont abuse my personal mags but YouTube has videos of torture testing and these survive some brutal treatment. One minor point, the 20 and 30 models easily load on a closed bolt. These 10s offer some resistance on the closed bolt. If youre in free state, look at the tab on the spring attachment plate. Thats what is interfering. Lancer does stock a replacement spring attachment for the 20-round mag (200-000-1670-02 is the item number) and that will allow these 10s to seat on the closed bolt...or maybe use a Dremel tool. Lastly, these L5AWMs also are outstanding for 5.56/.223 use!!!

These mags are simply the best for several reasons: 1) the steel feed lips simply won't wear out or flex under any temperature or strain; 2) they weight slightly less than aluminum 10-rd mags (1/8 of an ounce); 3) the fact that they are clear means you can quickly assess your rounds (either quantity or type); the 10-rounders drop clean (you don't have to change your shooting position to change mags); and 4) they are easy to clean with soap (Dawn liquid) and water. I'll never go back to aluminum or opaque polymer mags again.
