Difficult to install; will not recommend
These rubber grips were very difficult to install on my S & W Model 13 round butt revolver. It was necessary to drift out the roll pin at the base of the revolver's frame, not difficult with the proper tools. After inserting the revolver frame into the grip, the hole in the right side of the grip would not line up with the hole in the revolver's frame. I had to insert a small awl in order to line up the holes, then wait about one hour for the grip & frame to take a "set". With some difficulty I then was able to insert the screw provided. Hopefully, I will not have to endure the same problems when I remove the grips for cleaning. Pachmayr is synonymous with quality, however I will not purchase these type grips again nor recommend them and will instead opt for a two-piece grip which is easier to install and remove. To be fair, these closed-back grips feel great but the juice ain't worth the squeeze. Incidentally, I did follow the instructions provided.
Simply would not install on my gun
