MGW - Drop-In Barrel Bushing, S/S

Going to order another for RIA.

Most recent purchase was for a Kimber .22 conversion. It dropped in snugly with no play on barrel or slide side. This is perfect for a quick drop in upgrade or just for show as it is a little thicker than most stock bushings and has a nicely beveled edge. Also fits Caspian ans Springfield slides very well.

my 1911 i bought used with a compensator. wanted to remove the compensator for a normal bushing. spent a long time (2-3 hours) to file it down to fit in the slide, got it good enough but still tight and hard to remove. to find the high spots, used a marker and test fit it to find the high spots where the marker wore off. its also too tight on the barrel getting hung about half way. part number shows correct but not sure if it might have gotten mixed up with an oversized one. the compensator fits barrel fine and is alittle loose in the slide. by time i finish fitting this, there wont be any finish left on it

Bought this for a Colt 1911 Government hoping it would be simply plug 'n play. Nope! Tolerances did not make this a drop-in part. So, the caution here is ... you may need fitting to have this part work with your 1911. Also, the description says it's blued. Nope, again! It's matte chrome moly, and actually it looks more like it's Parkerized.
