Tighten it up
Crane bearings or shims tighten yoke or crane to the frame. Be aware you have to stretch the crane or shim cylinder for the endshake these bearings or shims will create. Nothing better than a tight Smith and Wesson!
5
End end shakes
Fabulous product, improves bearing surface of cylinder AND fixes end shake.
5
Did the job!
These washer/shims were used to provide clearance on my S&W 686, as the cylinder was rubbing on the forcing cone of the barrel. Two .002" shims did the trick!
5
End Shake Shim
A few years back, I sent a revolver to S&W for excessive end shake. After big dollars to ship each way, the repair at S&W was $6.00. I later learned of these Power Custom Bearings....(end shake shims) Long story short, these shims work perfectly you just need to pay attention to the thread direction of the ejector rod/cylinder assembly. Some are left and some right depending on which dash your S&W is. Other that that, easy to install and saves huge dollars!
5
Alternate use
I have used these on revolvers, but what I use them for more often is with action screws on bolt action rifles. instead of drilling down the screw recesses in a trigger guard or trimming the underside of the screw head, just put the proper number of these under the screw to align the screw slot with the long axis of the rifle. Much easier.
