What is the RADIAN WEAPONS - AFTERBURNER + RAMJET Micro Compensator & Barrel Glock 17 G5?
The Radian® AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ combo provide unprecedented recoil reduction and match grade accuracy in a concealed carry package. The threadless barrel design allows for effortless install/removal for cleaning, while LEGAL FOR SALE IN ALL 50 STATES*.
The AFTERBURNERâ„¢ compensator is machined from hardened 17- 4 SS and the RAMJETâ„¢ barrel from hardened 416R SS; both are enhanced with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This combination achieves low friction, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance, making overall durability and erosion from muzzle blast a non-issue.
The INTRA-LOK® mounting system uses the taper lock principle; a tapered locking screw interfaces with an angled V-groove on the underside of the barrel. This perfectly times the compensator as it locks down onto the upper barrel profile on the muzzle end of the barrel.
INTRA-LOK® allows the user to simply slide the compensator over the barrel, insert and tighten the locking screw, making for a simple and repeatable installation process. This system allows the user to easily remove the barrel from the slide for cleaning.

It's Radian, It's Nice, It's Expensive, It Performs Well.
The Radian Ramjet + Afterburner does a really good job at reducing muzzle rise. If you're relatively new to compensators you'll also want to use a reduced power recoil spring on your Glock as well or you WILL have cycling issues. I bought the Raidan Compressor and used the 15lb (RED) spring with factory Blazer 115gr and it had some cycling issues (even after broken in with a hundred or so rounds. So I purchased an NDZ Performance Stainless Steel Guide Rod with an ISMI 15lb recoil spring and it functions flawlessly. Which is funny for two reasons, the NDZ is like $25-$30 shipped and the Radian Compressor is like $90 or more shipped, and the Radian was made for their Ramjet + Afterburner. The NDZ Stainless Steel Guide Rod and ISMI spring is nicer, cleaner, and smoother cycling setup, however, it's not a quick change like the Radian.... but it only takes like an additional 15 seconds. Go with the NDZ Performance Guide Rod and ISMI 15lb spring, it's just better. Yes, better than the Radian. It's higher quality, feels more robust, and operates smoother through the recoil cycle.

Very effective compensator
I tested 2 Glock 17s that were otherwise identical and the change with Radian Ramjet Afterburner combo was amazing.

Afterburner + Ramjet Glock 19 gen5
Loved the way it calmed the 19 down but after two hundred rounds it started to Jam and eventually locked the slide trying to eject an empty round. Has anyone else had this problem. The 19 is new and had 600 rounds run through it before installing ramjet and it clean.

Reviewed Ram jet
The ability to have in all states and the .05 inch size is the selling point but truly it does what it’s intended to do.downside only effects people who shoot under night vision and possibly people who use optics. I purchased both ramjets g19 and g17 … Trijicon newer optics comes with an brighter dot setting so I can use my ramjets for nighttime usage just can’t use them under night vision the blast washes out the radical…
