BROWNELLS BARREL VISE BUSHINGS

Aluminum, split barrel bushings come in eight different hole sizes and one, special, pre-machined bushing to make this universal Barrel Vise system the very first choice of professional gunsmit hs. Steel Bushings provide years of service, plus have the necessary clamping power to break loose the tightest barrels. Aluminium Bushings give exceptional holding ability without marking your barrel. Solid Bushings - Solid bushings that have NOT been split so you can alter them as you want.

Tikka T3x CTR- Bushing

The number 7, at 1.150 is the correct bushing for the Tikka T3x CTR 24" 6.5mm Creedmoor Bolt Action Rifle. I used blue painters tape around the barrel and action and pine rosin in the bushing. You will tighten the barrel vise to extremes you would think that would crush the barrel. Tikka is notorious about what it takes to break their actions loose. I didn’t use heat but at the end of the day I used a 3’ cheater pipe to break the bond. No scars no mars on barrel or action after removal

Taper bushing perfect for sporter barrels

This barrel vise and bushings is great...this particular taper bushing is perfect for cracking loose a tough sporter barrel. Highly recommend the whole package! With this and the 1.2 and 1.250 I haven't needed any other bushings from full Proof Contour down to factory sporter barrel.
