Heat-treated, ejector retainer bit with Magna-Tip handle helps remove the ejector retainer screw; a “must do” step for complete disassembly of Ruger® double action cylinders. Self-aligns perfectly over the center pin rod during removal. Fits Redhawk®, Super Redhawk®, GP-100®, and SP101® Cylinders. Will NOT fit the Super Redhawk Alaskan

Ruger D/A Ejector Driver Set
The bit and driver are high quality and American made. It came with clear instructions and recommendations for proper use. I considered making a bit myself but glad I ordered this set instead. Proper bit size bit, well designed (center pin hole). I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family member.

Just what I really needed
I was detail cleaning my Ruger GP100 and found lots of gunk in the ejector chamber. I cleaned it the best I could with cotton swabs and all the while wondering how to remove the ejector for a thorough cleaning. Months later I ran across a video on YouTube showing how it is done, and the special bit required to do it. Eureka! I found the bit at Brownells, where all of the special gun smithing tools are found (along with gun parts). Now I can clean the ejector chamber the proper way.

Excellent purpose built tool.
This tool is much better quality and works a lot better than tools I have made in the past to accomplish the same thing. The material and construction is more than adequate for the intended purpose.
