A Rifle Chassis Design You Can Balance And Customize Yourself
When it comes to a rifle chassis, balance and weight can make all the difference. Normally, a rifle chassis or stock comes balanced and weighted from the factory, with no ability for the end user to customize their gun without significant work. However, the Modular Driven Technologies ACC Chassis changes all that, thanks to a unique system.
Each Modular Driven Technologies ACC Chassis is designed as a skeleton rifle stock that can be customized with a series of purpose-built weights to manually adjust the weight and balance of your rifle, reducing felt recoil and allowing the gun to balance easily on obstacles, when needed. The chassis comes equipped with a heavy steel buttplate to increase weight, and the entire chassis can be adjusted from 5.9 pounds to 13.3 pounds, depending on the rifle model and number of weights used. The ACC Chassis do not come with a buttstock, but as of 2021 comes with the MDT Elite Vertical Grip.
Other features found on the Modular Driven Technologies ACC Chassis include a full-length ARCA rail on the forend, as well as M-LOK mounting points on three separate faces of the forend. The chassis itself is machined from 6061 aluminum and features a free-floating barrel channel and an ESS buttstock interface. The chassis can be had for Remington 700 short-action and long-action designs, the Tikka T3 and T3x, the HOWA 1500 short action and the Savage Arms short action.
