A Tunable 300 Blackout Barrel For Your Subsonic Loads
One of the highlights of the 300 Blackout round is the amount of subsonic ammunition on the market, making it a perfect option for use with a suppressor. However, getting dependable performance with subsonic ammunition can take some fine-tuning, which is why ODIN Works developed this medium-profile barrel complete with a tunable gas block.
The tunable gas block on this AR-15 barrel allows shooters to manually adjust the gas flow from the block to the receiver for optimum performance with their preferred ammunition. The barrel itself is machined from stainless steel and can be had with a mid-length, carbine-length or a pistol-length gas system and a 1:8-inch twist rate.
Each barrel is topped with 5/8"-24 TPI muzzle threads that accept most of today's popular muzzle devices. Overall lengths available are 16.1 inches or 10.5 inches, and the weight on this design tops out at 1 pound, 10.7 ounces for the 16.1-inch barrel.
