A4350 is in the same burn rate category as IMR4350 and H4350 commonly referred to as the Creedmoor class of powders. In my loading A4350 performed at the same level as both the other 4350 powders but at a cheaper price point. There is a slight (15fps) velocity loss and you give up temperature insensitivity. Meaning the ambient temperature does affect your velocities with A4350. In my shooting, it can be a relatively large (80fps) variation between the summers and the cool season here at Ft. Bragg, NC. I load 6.5mm 140gr ELD-M at 2730fps Summer (~90 degrees ambient) and they normally shoot about 2650fps in the cool season (~40 degrees ambient).Average group size with proper loads is highly shooter dependent but I am consistently printing 5 shot groups between .5 and .75 inch. I don’t see paying $15 to $25 more per pound for less temperature sensitivity. The temperature sensitivity is easily overcome by by getting a good portable chrono, ((personally love the Garmin Xero Pro Chrono) which will help you in load development more than you realize)), and firing a velocity check before starting your hunt or match.

This had to be one of the best And all around powders I have ever used. Work great in a wide variety of loads and calibers.
