What is the LEE PRECISION - 45 Caliber (0.452") 300gr FN Gas Check 6-Cavity Mold?

The Lee 6 Cavity Handgun moulds are made for heavy duty volume production. Moulds and blocks have steel bushings and alignment pins for lasting pecision. Price includes a cam operated sprue plate to eliminate the pounding common to ordinary moulds. The sprue plate is hard anodized and held down with wave washers at each end. All Lee mould blocks are made from aluminum because of its exceptional moulding qualities. All mould cavities are CNC machined for unmatched roundness and size control.

Does not include handles.

Another great affordable Lee product
I’m very happy with my new 40/10mm 6 cavity mold. The day I received it, I washed it up and started casting with it. Once up to temperature I quickly casted about 10lbs of quality projectiles. These 6 cavity Lee molds hold their heat well and cast quickly. Very happy with the results and excellent price from Brownells.

Perect range ammo
Runs great in all my 9mm's. I powder coat. But this runs in my shields, M&P 2.0 compact, glock, and the ruger 9mm PPC carbine Since I won't run to Wal-Mart anymore for inexpensive ammo for the 9's this fills the void... 6 cavity is better than 2 so I don't have to spend all day over the lead pot to pour 600 rounds for the range

I really like these moulds
I've used Lee 6 cavity moulds in 452 and 358 in 2 weights each. They are reliable, heat quickly, cool quickly when necessary, and most importantly make excellent bullets. They are not indestructible, but last many 10s of thousands of rounds if you keep them clean and lubed. When they wear out after 100s of lbs of lead, chunk them and get new ones. More than likely you'll wear out before they do.
