The SSA-E X™ with Lightning Bow® trigger delivers the ultimate in trigger control, with a semi-curved, wide-body profile that combines the best features of the standard curved AR trigger and the popular flat-bow design. The SSA-E X™ features our Nanoweapon coating on the major components, which dramatically enhance wear and corrosion resistance and keep the trigger running smoothly even with minimal lubrication.


The SSA-E X™ trigger delivers a smooth, light first stage take-up and a crisp, icicle-like second stage break. The SSA-E X™ is ideal for use in precision Designated Marksman type rifles where both accuracy and reliability are critical and compromise isn’t an option.

Best AR trigger I've ever felt
This trigger is expensive but it's the best AR trigger I've ever used. 1st stage is light & short. The break is crisp with no creep or grit. The reset is very short & the lightning bow shaped trigger feels great. Try one & see why everyone upgrades to Geissele triggers.

I replaced the trigger groups in my two DMR rifles with a lightning bow and a standard SSA-E. Replaced the SSA-E in the one DMR with another lightning bow, moved it along with another one I purchased into my two St. Victors, 5.56 and .308. Can't say enough about how much this tightened my groups. Fantastic triggers and best I've ever felt. Haven't tried Triggertech but in my case, why bother?

Beats the trigger tech adjustable AR trigger
Bought a Nemo omen that came with a trigger tech adjustable trigger. It’s not a bad trigger by any means, but it didn’t feel as good to me as my other geissele triggers. To date, this is my favorite geissele trigger. Love the control I have with the second stage trigger. Hold at the wall when on target and add a little more pressure when the shot placement is perfect and boom!
