SPUHR - ISMS PICATINNY MOUNTS

I use this mount on my .300 win mag with a 30 inch barrel. With magnum rifles and large high power scopes(8-80x 56mm march) this mount is rock solid! Given the installation is done correctly an a little blue lock-tite you can be confident your scope will not budge. Add the fact of the level is done very well, and accessories can be mounted in different positions. I cannot see anyone being able to produce a better scope mount.

On my Tikka T3X Tac A1...perfect fit, excellent machine work, required no additional lapping or anything to achieve a level scope placement. Expensive, but the level of quality is worth it. I have chased zeroing/grouping issues in the past that were due to poor quality scope mounts from reputable mfgs. This thing is built like a tank, A++++

Finding a scope mount for my Tikka T3x Tac A1 rifle was very challenging. The rifle came with a 0 MOA base that I wanted to use, so to add 20 MOA tilt I needed a one piece mount. To further complicate things the USO T-PAL scope I used needs to 3+ inches between the rings for clearance. This Spuhr mount met all these needs plus more. It is very stout without being heavy. The 45* angled caps do indeed make seeing the side knobs easier. The included scope leveling tool made a normally tedious job only take a few seconds. The bubble level is easy to check with your off eye while in shooting position. The wide rings with six screws each will surely hold even the heaviest scope tight. I can't think of any negatives at all. The mount is expensive, but I feel it is a good value and well worth the money.

I bought this mount for a Leupold Mark 5 HD 3.6-18x44 to mount on my AR-10 Mk-12 clone. Id read a bit about the Spuhr mount before I bought it, but I failed to notice some of the extremely innovative things that the amazing Swedes built into it. The Wedge is the neatest thing Ive seen in a LONG time and it certainly does away with the frustration & hassle of trying to get the crosshairs level with the mount. It truly makes it an absolute BREEZEand its accurate. The 1.18 height is PERFECT for a 44mm objective and gives enough clearance for comfort while getting the scope as low as possible to the bore axis. The built in bubble level is perfectly placed & you can see it well even with the BUIS right in the way. I wasnt sure how Id like the 45 ring cut, but it certainly is easy to access the screws & install the scope, it also puts the ring interfaces away from your windage & elevation knobs. I also really like the flat side on the left, it keeps things out of the way of your focus/illumination dial and does give you a vertical reference. At any rate, this thing is pretty amazinglots of real estate and mounting holes for accessory mounts (this will come in handy whenever I get rich and get that clip on thermal sight). I dont see where you can go wrong with this mount. Sure its a bit pricey but for what you get and for how easy it is to mount and level up your optic, its worth it!

Must have if you want confidence in your equipment this may very well be the best choice for a uni-mount type scope ring system. Aesthetics: The machining is very good, and the finish is very consistent. Function: This is where the cost vs. value equation works. The form factor is excellent. Very non-intrusive when using a scope. There is little if anything to snag on. It comes with a built in scope level bubble, again very stream lined and protected from any bumps. It has a built in recoil lug that ensures that the scope will return to zero after removal and re-installation. Options: There are so many different models there is bound to be one that suites any need. Definitely not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either (but darn close to it). If you want / demand equipment that just works this is for you.
