Fantastic lpvo mount,
Owner of dozens of Bobro, ADM, LaRue, MW mounts over the years. This is THE BEST QD mount in the business for toolless return to zero mounting. It is built very well and adhears to the tight tollerances of the design providing a very concentric platform to mount optics and allowing them to stay very close to the mechanical zero centerline when other leading brands can have you zeroing up to 20MOA windage at 100yds for a good zero. The SideLok is an excellent mount when used within it's design peramiters. Fantastic 5 star LPVO mount on service caliber platforms, Pretty poor as a hammer if you want to do something weird like frame a house with it and then leave a 2 star review like other odd balls who don't understand design constraints and basic assembly principles. I own 3 of these mounts. Two in 30mm and 1 in 34mm. The only improvement this mount could have is to reduce the thickness of the base/distance from rail to top of the span mount between rings. This would enable the SideLok to completely take over the industry preffered mount for 30mm tube design night optics that tend to have a bulge protruding from underneath the center turrret arrangement on nightvision/thermal optics.
