KickLite- Patented Recoil Reduction Technology. Enjoy enhanced weapon control, quicker follow up shots, reduced fatigue and increased accuracy. Designed with shooters of all sizes and body types in mind. Featuring a heavy duty spring and aluminum shaft working in a linear motion to greatly reduce the harsh recoil of common shotgun and rifle loads. The KickLite (tm) system is a fully integrated and maintenance free system which allows up to 3/4" rearward motion of receiver to absorb and dissipate energy up to 50%. A built in hood eliminates pinch points from movement of receiver rearward.

Great purchase! The stock fits the 20 gauge Maverick 88 youth model perfectly, and allows sufficient LOP adjustment to make the gun fit almost anyone fro kid to adult. The recoil reduction is a welcomed feature when shooting heavy buckshot and slug loads from this light gun. Definitely recommend this for anyone want to upgrade their budget shotgun.

Glad I Bought It
The included installation instructions are simple. Tools required: Phillips screwdriver, long flat blade screwdriver or socket with extension, 1/4" ball head Allen wrench (included in the kit). I wanted an adjustable LOP for my Maverick 88, and this adjusts (in steps) from 11-3/4" to 15-1/4". Recoil pad is a little more cushiony than on the original Mossberg stock. Also included is a 5-shell shotshell holder.
