Replacement front sights work in conjunction with factory rear sights to give you fast sight acquisition in most light conditions. Machined steel body uses overmolded technology to completely cover and protect the light gathering, polymer LightPipe with an extra layer of clear polymer. Gunsmith fitting recommended.S&W CLASSIC, PERFORMANCE CENTER & DX MODELS -Interchangeable for different shooting distances and scenarios. Easy-to-see, bright red or green light rod makes target acquisition fast and efficient. Specially machined base is precision cut to fit factory ramp or base. Fits S&W Classic, Performance Center, and DX models. SPECS: Steel, black, matte finish. .813' (20.6mm) long. Available in .208', .250', and .310' heights.

Perfect for S&W 625 JM model
This is it for the S&W 625 Jerry Miculek model... I bought another sight that stated it fit the 625... it didn't fit my JM model. I returned it and Brownells (with their fantastic customer service) replaced the sight with this one that is a perfect size fit. (you may need a replacement front sight pin to go with it, I bent mine)

Great choice
This sight is being used on a S&W 625JM in IDPA and USPSA shooting competitions. The sight appears overall very well made and replicates the factory gold bead sight in terms of height and width almost exactly (.250x.125). I haven't used it for an extended period of time so I can't comment on the longevity, but I will say it is easy to put on and take off. Used with the "classic" quick change base that should be a given, but due to the excessive length of the SDM brand FO sight I had to nearly destroy it to get it off. The Hiviz is shorter, like the factory sight, and easily slips on or off. The price is right and definitely worth a try.

Had issues with it.
I had issues with installing it. The Shape of this front sight was not the same as the factory one, this prevented the sight from slipping into place. I had to file off a little bit of the front dovetail edge to allow it to clear so it could fall into place. Once installed it works great and improves front sight acquisition.
