1911 MATCH GRADE LINK PIN

The strongest, most accurately ground link pin available for building Match Grade 1911 Autos. Centerless ground, hardened steel pins accurately sized and sorted according to diameter for faster, easier selection. Oversized for additional strength, chamfered on both ends for solid, problem-free installation. For best installation results link pin hole should be reamed.

Makes installing and fitting link easier
I like these pins because they are ground and not injected like most others available. I always know what the dia. will be to start with so it is easy to make it a perfect fit every time. Also, they are very strong and look nice.

Tolerances are mismatched
Spec for the link pin hole in the barrel is .154 +.001". Link pin spec is .1555 -.001. Minimum in-tolerance link pin diameter would be .1545 because the pin is designed to be a light interference fit. Information with these pins indicates tolerance only, but no spec. Taking the .154 hole diameter as the presumed pin spec, a minimum pin would be a loose .1535 fit, while a maximum diameter would be the correct at .1545 .The correct range is .1545 to .1555. For a [$]pin, I expect the correct diameter, which these pins are not.

Match Grade Link Pin 0.156
The 0.156 pin Did not measure up. I needed a pin that was fatter than the mil spec of 0.155 and that is what this pin measured. Not 0.156. Very disappointed with this product, first time ever.
