Optimized for Today's Reflex-Style Optics
As part of the company's Gen 5 line of handguns, Glock introduced an all-new model of its flagship G17, complete with a number of new features found on the slide. This new package is the Glock G17 Gen 5 MOS.
Standing for Modular Optic System, the Glock G17 Gen 5 MOS features a slide cut just forward of the rear sight dovetail that accepts a number of attachment plates. These plates are sized to fit many of today's popular reflex-style optics. One other feature found on the slide is the inclusion of forward slide serrations in addition to the serrations found at the rear.
- Barrel length: 4.49 inches
- Caliber: 9mm
- Weight: 1.57 pounds
- Ships with three 17-round magazines
All of these new elements found on the Glock G17 MOS are built on the company's Gen 5 system, which provides an improved trigger pull and removes the finger grooves found on the Gen 4 model.
