What is the MARINE-TEX - White Marine-Tex, 14.0 oz?
High strength epoxy plugs holes, seals cracks and makes repairs in wood, aluminum, and steel. Putty-like consistency, will not run or drip. Impervious to solvents. Virtually no shrinkage or expansion. SPECS: 5-to-1 mix ratio. 30-40 minute work time. Hardens in 4-5 hrs. Contains resin, catalyst, mixing cup, mixing stick, instructions. 32 oz. size does not include cup or stick.

Other purpose
I have used Marine Tex for years bedding rifles but I bought the white this time to fix my camper where I backed into my boat trailer and I put a hole in the camper. I pull the boat behind the camper and I was hooking by myself and I put the tongue into the camper. Thought that would be the best product to use as I can sand and paint the area and it would look better.

The best there is.
I realize this is Brownells, but from my perspective after dozens and dozens of bedding jobs, Marine-Tex is the best epoxy bedding material available. It wets, i.e., sticks to the stock extremely well and forms an absolutely perfect impression of the barreled action without voids. Also has a generous working time. The only thing not to like is it's black, whereas brown would match walnut stocks better. I've used Marine-Tex for years & prefer it.
