DEWEY - C-30 Guide

I bought this muzzle guide to help keep my cleaning rod straight and not damage the barrel of my Springfield Armory M1A Scout Squad during muzzle to ejection port cleaning. This fits nicely onto the tip of the muzzle brake and the rubber O-ring will not damage or mar the crown. I can now properly clean my barrel (with both patches and felt pellets) and not worry about the rod or jag scraping the rifling. Simple but effective.

I have all of the muzzle guide or bore guides for an M14 that allow me to use a cleaning rod from the muzzle to the breech. This is the best. The Black Dewey guide is a PITA because it fits snugly on the M14 standard flash suppressor and when you go to withdraw your rod the brush or mop wants to come threw the guide splattering solvent everywhere. The long aluminum one fits inside the muzzle and is very awkward. This is the best guide. I have a dedicated set of Dewey rods for my M14s and I keep one of these on each rod. They fit nicely, do the job and detach when you withdraw the rod. They can also be used on Smith Ent. Votex Flash hider bearing muzzles. Great Bore Guide!
