I don't normally write reviews unless the product is absolutely phenomenal, or really bad. This tap is the BEE'S KNEE'S! No more 1 turn, back a quarter to break chips, which with a tap this small is something you normally have to do. Not with this tap, as it creates two pigtails that come out the bottom of the hole and stay clear of the cutting edge. AMAZING. This obviously works for through holes, not so much for blind holes, but I won't be using any other taps for through holes from now on.

2 Flute 6-48 Tap
This design is far better than the 3 flute for hard materials. Three flutes tend to bind and break more often.

It worked ok on the first hole, but the second one was too much for it… shattered. Good thing I bought more re than one. The Amazon one was better…
