What is the HORNADY - 9mm Luger Nitride 3-Die Set?

Hornady 3-Die Pistol Reloading Sets include a full length sizing die, adjustable case mouth expander and bullet seating die. The full length die features a titanium nitride coated sizing ring which eliminates stuck cases, and Hornady's zip spindle system that makes setup and adjustment easy. The seating die features a floating bullet seater alignment sleeve and crimping option.

Great handgun dies
These Hornady custom pistol dies produce the most concentricity correct ammunition of any dies that I have ever used. This is most evident in loading 38 Special and 32 S&W Long Wadcutters Other dies leave bulges at the bottom of the Wadcutter bullet and the case where concentricity was not correct when the bullet was being seated. The seating die has an extension that keeps the bullet in alignment with the case during the seating operation.

Great reloading dies
I have been replacing all my handgun caliber dies with the Hornady Nitride 3 die sets. The resizing die makes fast work of the task of decaping and sizing the spent cartridge. The belling die makes belling the case a breeze and keeps it a uniform bell. The seating die has a sleeve that surrounds the bullet on the up stroke and aids in concentricity of the bullet. The tightening nut is a perfect fit for my Forster Coax Press.
