VIHTAVUORI - N570 HIGH ENERGY SMOKELESS RIFLE POWDER

I got this powder to use in the 6.5 PRC. Using Nosler brass, Berger 153.5's being shot out of my Browning Long Range Max rifle, I'm getting 2950 FPS and 1/2 MOA. No pressure signs and SD in the single digits. The one down side is this stuff is a pain to get into the case. Each has to be done individually as there is no way you could get it to fall through a thrower. But I use it for hunting, so I don't have to load a lot. I'm glad I tried it.

I use 89-90gr of N570 with the Barnes 265gr LRX in an older AR30. It works well with other loads from 250 to 285gr also but for whatever reason it dialed in most accurately with the 265gr LRX in my rifle. I am only going out to 800 yds so far as I haven't found a longer range or Hilltop site. Much nicer to shoot than Retumbo or H1000. No harsh recoil and seems to work well with the big muzzle brake on my 26" barrel. I had another shooter try it and he had the same results and liked the recoil push also. I haven't compared it against 869 or RL-33 in heavier loads and probably won't.
