Versatile, clean, a hidden gem
I use American Select to reload 9mm with Berry's 115 RN plated bullets and 40 S&W with Berry's 155 HBRN bullets and I could not be happier with the results. The powder burns much cleaner than anything I've ever used and it's high bulk makes the powder highly visible in the case, unlike super high efficiency powders like nearly-invisible Titegroup and Ram Zip. In an 8lb keg (if you can find it), American Select is very economical and great bang for the buck, pun intended. Metering is pretty good, but not as good as Silhouette and other silky-smooth metering powders.
