SIERRA BULLETS, INC. - V-Crown 9mm (.355") 125gr Jacketed Hollow Point 100/Box

I loaded the Sig V Crown 9mm 147gr JHP with VV 3N38 6.1gr with a COAL of 1.142" and in my gun this load was very, very accurate. I had bought 2 boxes of 500 prior to this purchase. I bought 2 more boxes as this is becoming one of my favorite bullets to reload. This is not reloading advise for anyone. Refer to published data and don't exceed it.

Wanted to see how heavyweight 9 mm loads worked in my Staccato and Cz’s. Easy load w/AA #7 @1059fps. Great accuracy out to 25 yards. No feeding issues. Glad I got them.

I use this bullet often. Accuracy is above average for a self defense round. My last reloading session, I was using these for some 10mm hand loads. I use a progressive press for most of my pistol needs, so when I'm done with the batch, I always check the overall weight, headspace, COAL, and general condition of the rounds on my scale, case gauge. One came up over a hundred grains weak. Upon inspection of the round, the bullets jacket was there, just no lead! This just reminds me of the need to check all your rounds before firing them, no matter how good the components!
