Speer 308150BLKGLD
The 308150BLKGLD was designed for the 300 Blackout at 'supersonic' velocities. Within Max. loads I've gotten up to 2,150 fps. I have my own range, but it only goes out to 50 yards - at 50 yards, I've gotten the oft questioned 'one hole' group, can my rifle (Rem/AAC Model 7), my load, or the weak link (me) do this consistently - No, but I've shot other groups with this load (near max. of 1680) and other loads (near max. of CFE BLK & Lil Gun) with nearly the same results.
Only game taken by us, was a nice blacktail my daughter shot at approx. 40 yards. One shot, no bullet recovered, ran less than 10 yards, significant damage to the heart/lungs.
The only thing wrong with this bullet is the lack of availability, I've been on several notify lists for the last two years... C'mon Speer. This is my 300 Blackout hunting bullet of choice. I've also had excellent accuracy and terminal results from Barnes 110 grain Tac-Tx, which I will go back to if Speer doesn't do a production run of these soon.
