PETERSON CARTRIDGE - 6MM CREEDMOOR BRASS

I really like that brass comes in a plastic storage box. I haven't had the opportunity to really put it through the paces but it seems to be very uniform. I would buy it again without hesitation. Flash holes are very uniform. Necks have been annealed.

Peterson Brass has become my go to brass to use in my custom rifle builds. The brass is very uniform and consistent in both weight and volume. Quality is just as good if not better than Lapua and best of all American made!

This has been very consistent for me. I normally shoot Lapua SRP 6mm Creedmoor brass but with the times there are zero SR primers to be had and have plenty of large primers on my shelf. I've been using this brass with a pretty warm load of H4350 and on 6 firings with no annealing and the pockets and necks are still g2g. My SD's and ES have been just as good as my Lapua after slightly tuning the load by a tenth to two tenths. Remember to rework your load. I also have probably 12 cases to hold my rounds now. They ship in a great reusable ammo case!

I have been using a popular name brass that was a few dollars less per 50. I decided to give Peterson a try.. and boy and I glad I did! On a weigh count to separate the brass, there was only 3 piles, 1/10th grain difference. This is quality stuff and i continue to compete with it.

I've loaded ammo with Winchester, Hornady, Nosler, Norma, Federal, Lapua and several others. This is the only brass I didn't feel a need to resize before loading. Even with Lapua it is common to have the mouth of several cases deformed. The extra effort in packaging by Peterson resulted in 100 pieces of brass that are ready to load. Without neck turning this brass produced lower variations in concentricity than my neck turned hornady brass. I still need to see how durable this brass is. My initial impression is that the overall quality is better than Lapua.
