L.E. WILSON, INC. - Fired Case Pistol Holder 38 Special

I bought this trimmer several years ago and it’s the best I’ve used .. Granted there’s imperfections in Brass cases but if you pre-check all your brass before you start trimming then you won’t have any issues with accuracy.. some cases are Harder than others so trimming might be a little harder.. but when you sort out the Brand that’s Hard you will find it much easier to be Accurate on all the Softer ones.

Cannot fault this items. Used with the Wilson case trimmer, it speeds up the process and is very accurate. Start adjustments high and work slowly to the correct length. I didn't require a press to insert or remove the case, just used a quarter inch wooden dowel to press them out and pushed them in with my thumb. Recommended.

I used this Wilson holder to turn 9mm luger into 9mm Makarov. Used a drill to speed things up. Obviously, you size to Makarov after you trim to about 18mm (exact trim to length in your load book). Works great. Creates a mess of course. I had to create a system where I would hammer out the piece of brass by using a brass punch. One quick tap to the holder would knock it out. It's not like the rifle brass which can be knocked out quickly. Wilson warns of this in the instructions with this holder.

I have a Wilson trimmer this is the best on the market right now. I have had them all I get best results from the Wilson. buy one and see.

I didn't need a press to push the case in to the die. I just used my thumb to press them in. And a 20 penny nail with the point cut off to press them out. I think it was as fast as any other trimmer. It held well never turning in the die. I did find a few that wouldn't fit. These were all range pick up I use them to make 9mm Makarov from. Some chambers will be larger than others. As far as I'm concerned it worked very well.
