HORNADY - Lock-N-Load Sonic Cleaner 2L - Basket only

I've been using this sonic cleaner for about two years now and have cleaned thousands of cases, mainly 38 special and 45 acp. I decap them first so the water stays cleaner and the primer pocket gets clean. The water is usually good for 3 or 4 cleaning sessions depending on how bad the cases are. I use distilled water and RCBS sonic cleaner in it but I am sure other sonic cleaning solutions work fine. You don't get ultra shiny cases out of them, just clean ones. I don't care if my cases are shiny so I just clean then load but I know some people tumble them for a bit to shine the cases after cleaning. Your choice on that. I've found this to be a great cleaner and quiet to use which is good for apartment dwellers or folks like myself who like to reload after everyone else in the house has gone to bed. No problems with the unit in the 2 years I've had it but if you are a heavy reloader doing more then a few hundred reloads a month or do lots of longer rifle cases, you may want to upgrade to a higher capacity unit. This one works fine for me as a light/medium round count per month pistol reloader.

Replaces the Hornady Magnum Sonic cleaner that died after many years on 1/19/2021. Far quieter and half the price of the old unit. Looks like it could be found in the kitchen. Still trying to empty the tank without spilling cleaner.

Worked so-so when new but after 6 months the tank rusted though. This might have been my fault but I didn't see in the literature where it needed to be drained of solution after each use. A hole in the solution tank bottom rendered this product useless!!
