What is the LEE PRECISION - Lee Pro 4-20 Lead Melter 110V?
Large diameter high capacity pot, holds approximately 20 pounds of lead. A generous 3 3/4' inches of clearance under the spout accepts all brands of bullet molds and most sinker molds. It also includes an adjustable mold guide to quickly and accurately position any mold for pouring. This second generation design incorporates the famous Lee patented high-efficiency design and dependable remote sensing thermostat, now in a dust tight housing. Long life 700-watt tubular heating element assures quick melting and rapid recovery. New micro adjustable, flow control valve adjusts instantly with a twist of the screw driver. Front mounted low maintenance replaceable valve spout allows instant reseating with a turn of a screwdriver.

This melter will reach between 450 and 900 degrees Fahrenheit. Cast at the lowest temperature that will give good fill out. 650 degrees is a good starting point.

Great Lead Furnace
Great lead furnace with the bottom pour valve. Appears to hold temperature steady. Convenient, adjustable mold shelf under the spout. A really great upgrade from my 55 year old Herters pot.

Top lead melting pot!
This is the best value in lead casting pots for the home reloaded. I would suggest this unit over the 10 lb unit only because as your excitement grows, so will your need for a larger pot. It is very easy to use and designed to work with all home casting molds. The great price is topping on the cake. Realize there is a 110 v and a 220 v model when you order.

Lee normal Well made Lee Product
I have use the smaller lead pot for many years .... miss placed it during a move and wanted to cast some more bullets =) So why not go larger pot this time ... just in case I find the original one =) Never go wrong with Lee Products =)

A new/old Melter
Me and hot lead are not the best friends, so this is for someone else. In the past 30 years I've bought every melter done by Lee for different friends and everyone, at some momment, end up buying this model, the best Lee made. It has all the extras you need and the lower priced models miss. So, if you are going to cast lead, buy this one the first time and save your money.
